Yoga Classes
Sri Meenakshi Temple is pleased to offer Yoga classes as part of Vedic Heritage School to students and parents. Yoga classes will be taught by Mrs. Roopa Naidu.
"Roopa Naidu is a Yoga and Meditation instructor who has conducted classes and programs for schools, corporations and communities. She practices Heartfulness Meditation and Vinyasa Flow Yoga. Heartfulness meditation is a heart centered meditation that derives its roots from Raja Yoga. Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a popular contemporary style of Yoga focused on fitness and breath. Roopa has sought training from Robert Boustany on the Pralaya Yoga method. Her classes are focused on strength, breath and alignment. She enjoys teaching and helping students find Yoga as a complementary fitness practice in their modern daily life."
Yoga Classes for Students
Yoga classes are for VHS students is from 9:50 AM to 10:40 AM.
The class for students will focus on Surya Namaskar basics. Please come by 9:45 AM and take positions. If you come 10 minutes later, please do not disturb ongoing Yoga class. Unless permitted by instructors, please do not join Yoga class which is underway. Please ensure your child has a gap of at least 2 hours between breakfast and Yoga.
